The Reality of Internet Marketing in Selling Luxury Estates
The real marketing of Real Estate when it comes to high-end uber luxe homes is this: the same as it always has been.
While the trend of ‘Twitter,’ ‘Linkedin,’ ‘Facebook,’ etc. have all but infiltrated our everyday lives, and effeced the way in which we perceive ‘real-time consumerism,’ the ultimate fact remains: the marketing of these properties remains the same. There is no one way in which the wealthy spend there money, or make a 50 million dollar decision.
Luxury Real Estate is a ‘niche‘ market, and to think that an ultra-rich potential buyer is going to ask an agent or broker “if the properties are viewable on their respective iPhone or Blackberry,” borders on the path of insanity. It is certainly important that an agent can carry out this tall order; however, it is more important that the property be somewhere in the the vast ether of the World Wide Web, and an up to date credible source of printed material.
